Celtic FC present their new home shirt with adidas!

A few weeks after unveiling the new Celtic FC away shirt, adidas is definitely kicking off the season for Celtic Park residents by unveiling their new main tunic as they prepare for the Champions League 2nd qualifying round against the FC Midtjylland.

Founded in 1887 in Glasgow, Celtic has a great history that has long been transcribed through its tunics designed by Umbro in the 1940s. Since the 2020-2021 season, adidas has taken over from New Balance and obviously wants to keep the DNA of the winning club of the C1 in 1967 by presenting jerseys that respect the traditional style and the historic colors of the club today chaired by Ian Bankier.

Unlike the secondary tunics which change style and colors every year, the home shirt has always remained the same, with a few details. In the purest tradition of the club at the 51 Scottish Championships, the brand with the three stripes therefore unveils a tunic with horizontal green and white stripes where, apart from the logo of the sponsor jersey, the yellow does not stand out unlike last season. . Very classic, this tunic still has a little subtlety giving it a modern style with these fine green and white stripes that appear on the wide bands, as New Balance did during the 2015-2016 season. Finally, white socks with green stripes and shorts in the same color complete this new outfit.
