Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika has been put on the spot by a UDA allied MP days after meeting ODM leader Raila Odinga at a funeral service in Nakuru.

Speaking at a funeral service for late Dr. Margaret Wangari Kariuki in Bahari Sub-County, Nakuru county, Bahati MP Kimani Ngujiri accused Senator Kihika of taking a wrong political path.

Though he did not say which wrong political path the senator is taking, MP Ngujiri noted that he will not sit down let that happen. According to him, Senator is like his child and will not let her make wrong choices.

MP Ngujiri noted that the Senator is like his child since her late father, Kihika Kimani was his close friend. He also claimed that it was he who was given the responsibility of politically naturing Kihira, therefore, he will not sit down and see her go astray.

The MP said he will sit down with Senator Kihika and discuss the direction they will take regarding their political aspiration. He, however, insisted that Kihika will have to listen to him.

It is not yet clear what path the MP was referring to, but, the two leaders have been having differences on where their loyalty lies.

Early this year, Kihika accused Ngujiri of being indecisive and unsure of who to support between President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP President William Ruto.

“Didn’t he (Ngujiri) just vote yes for the Constitutional Amendment Bill 2020 (BBI) that he campaigned against for the last two years?

“Who would dare trust this man who blows hot and cold every other day? For me it spells an unreliable, character who switches sides depending on where his bread is being buttered that evening,” Kihika told Ngujiri as reported by Sonko News.

On his side, Ngujiri accused Kihika of being one of the leaders frustrating President Uhuru’s effort to unite the country ahead of his 2022 retirement.
