KANU delegates have overwhelmingly supported Gideon Moi, the party’s head, as their presidential candidate in next year’s election.
More than 3,000 attendees also gave Gideon permission to network with like-minded people in the run-up to 2022.
Nick Salat, the party’s secretary-general, proposed the motion, which was unanimously approved by the delegates.
Salat stated, “Thus special delegates determine as Gideon Moi is now nominated as the Presidential candidate for the 2022 General.”
Gideon Moi was crowned at Kanu’s National Delegates Conference in the ancient Bomas of Kenya.
