In lack of playing time on the Arsenal side, Alexandre Lacazette (30), author of a single goal in seven appearances this season, seems more than ever on the start. Free from any contract next June, the French striker of the Gunners could therefore be tempted by a new project, and this after four seasons spent on the side of London. “The situation is like that and we have to accept it. He’s our player and I treat him like any other player. I’m not going to treat him any differently because he has a season or more left, and that’s what he deserves ”, confided recently Mikel Arteta to Sky Sport.
Free to discuss with the club of his choice from January 1, the former OL scorer, however, confided that he had no intention of rushing, preferring to wait for the ideal project: “Inevitably my agents start to look a little to the right, to the left (…) But not before January, I really want to orient myself on something. Then we will see what is on offer, if the challenges are interesting, if there are great projects, how we are counting on me … There are still a lot of questions, I prefer to wait until January to really position myself ”, he said at the microphone of Telefoot.
