Home at Last: Comedian Akuku Danger Discharged from Hospital, Pleads for Assistance

Comedian Akuku Danger’s family, colleagues, friends and fans have every reason to celebrate after he was discharged from hospital.

Comedian Akuku Danger asked Kenyans to keep contributing.

Free at last, but not yet Uhuru

TUKO.co.ke has learnt Akuku Danger was discharged from the Nairobi West Hospital on Thursday, January 27, 2022, after about one month on his sickbed.

News about the discharge was first made public by his good friend Sandra Dacha who disclosed Akuku still owes the hospital KSh 2 million.

Taking to Instagram, actress Sandra Dacha revealed Akuku was discharged after drafting an agreement with the hospital in the presence of a lawyer and agreed to clear the KSh 2 million bill in three weeks.

Dacha, through her post urged Kenyans not to tire with helping Akuku and pleaded with them to keep contributing towards clearing the hospital bill.

“Akuku Danger was discharged yesterday from Nairobi West Hospital. They drafted an agreement(between him and the hospital) in the presence of a lawyer to have the bill settled in three weeks. Please do not tire contributing to his Paybill number 891300. Account name: Akuku.” Dacha wrote.

Akuku Danger pleads with Kenyans to keep controbuting

This comes barely a week after Dacha revealed the comedian had been discharged but could not be released from the hospital due to the pending bill.

Dacha announced that the bill currently stands at KSh 2 million while calling upon Kenyans of goodwill to come through for Akuku.

“Akuku has officially been discharged today, Monday 24th, but can’t be released until we clear pending hospital bill of KSh 2m.” she wrote.

The actress also shared a video of herself with Akuku Danger in hospital where they danced together.

God is good

The visibly excited duo could be seen synchronising their steps, indicating that Akuku was doing much better.

Dacha aptly accompanied the video with the Mkono Wa Bwana song by Zabron singers.

The clip of Akuku energetically dancing weeks after he could hardly move wowed many netizens who attribute the change to God.

Others hailed Dacha for her unwavering support for Akuku.
