Google Cloud launches credit program for startup startups

Google has relaunched the Google for Startups Cloud Program, which seeks to extend the financial support of the company’s cloud solutions to early-stage startups — including pre-seed and seed — with Series A investments. The initiative also allows participating companies to have access to mentoring from Google Cloud’s global Startup Success team.

During the first year of the program, startups will earn up to US$100,000 in Google Cloud credits to develop their businesses. In the second year, these companies will have covered 20% of the costs of using Google Cloud, as long as they do not reach the limit of US$ 100,000.

In addition, startup founders will be able to participate in workshops, events, technical training courses, Google for Startups programs and partner offers.

Support from the Google for Startups Cloud Program ranges from the design of the first prototypes of startup solutions to the expansion phase into new markets. In addition to receiving mentorship, personalized resources and technical support from Google experts, entrepreneurs will have access to Google Workspace, Google Maps and other products that drive their business forward.

“Our focus is to share our expertise and provide the necessary resources so that partner startups can seize new opportunities and move quickly, actively scaling and thriving in the cloud”, highlights Bruno Oliveira, leader for digital natives strategy for Google Cloud in Latin America.
