Chances are that you are using Netflix if you have clicked on this story.
The streaming platform is the biggest in the world, and for good reason: it entered the market earlier than the competition, it has awesome TV shows and films, not to mention great documentaries, some of them sponsored by the platform itself.
Netflix is also available on virtually all devices: all smartphone OSes support it, as well as TV platforms. You can also watch it from your computer.
On the TV side of things is where things have been tricky. For instance, I, among other thousands of people, have been complaining that we cannot rewind a film for ten seconds despite the button indicating that it is possible. You have to click it twice and go back 20 seconds, which is always not what we want.
Another issue has been the inability to remove a show or film from the ‘Continue Watching’ strip.
The feature has, for a long time, been available only on mobile devices or on computer. That meant that you could remove such content from phone/computer, but not on TV where some people prefer to watch from.
This has been fixed as of today.
You can now remove content you don’t want to go back to from the Continue Watching feed from the comfort of your TV. I have tested this on the Android TV app, and it works as advertised.
Now, we are looking forward to the platform fixing the rewind button for TV platforms.
