Mboi revealed the last time he saw President Uhuru was during the election campaign, he tried to reach him but had no chance.

“We met in Kianyaga. He asked me ‘have you met mum?’ I said ‘I can’t get there lest I be beaten. He told me:’ Give me your number. The number was taken by his people and that got lost there” said Mboi.

Mboi recalled his friendship with Uhuru back in the years saying it is one of the friendship he will cherish forever.

“I would tell him, Friend, may I come have a ride on your bike?’ He’d tell me, ‘come and ride, and we would laugh alot while riding the bike” Mboi recalled.
