AliKiba’s wife, Amina Khaleef caused a stir online when she recently posted an image where she celebrated Mombasa governor, Ali Hassan Joho.
Using her Instastories, Amina posted a photo of herself and the politician together in what looks to be a viewpoint for the Great Rift Valley. She then captioned the photo with words celebrating the governor’s birthday.
She wrote, “Happy birthday boss @joho001.”

The photo has caused a lot of tongue-wagging among Kenyans. The reason for that? Amina Khaleef is currently divorcing Joho’s very close friend, musician AliKiba.
Normal etiquette during (and after) divorce cases is that the wife stops associating with close friends of the husband.
The same is also expected from the husband who stops associating with the wife’s close friends.

But what many don’t realise about this case is that Joho and Amina already had a prior platonic relationship before she met the musician.
Amina’s mum is a friend to Ali Joho’s elder brother, Abu Joho. Not only that, Amina Khalif used to work at the County Government of Mombasa as a financial analyst.
