It is now a tradition with the approach of a World Cup. As usual, FIFA unveils the official music of the World Cup a few months before the start of the competition. After Shakira’s mythical Waka-Waka in 2010, or Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull in 2014, the International Federation has officially released the sound of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
This music will be performed by American singer Trinidad Cardona, Qatari singer Aisha and Nigerian singer Davido. The single, titled “Hayya Hayya (Better Together)”, was released on Friday by FIFA.“Bringing together voices from the Americas, Africa and the Middle East, this song symbolizes how music and football can bring the world together. As part of FIFA’s new music strategy, the soundtrack will include several tracks that will immerse fans in the World Cup mood like never before.”, said Kay Madati, Commercial Director of FIFA.
