Kisii Azimio candidates cry foul after being ignored in Raila rally

The candidate said ODM should stop the big brother mentality.

“We all want Raila to be president and if they continue sidelining us, they will regret,” he said.

Omwoyo warned that sidelining candidates from Azimio affiliate parties will hurt Raila’s presidential bid.

“What happened at Etago should not be repeated anywhere in Kenya. As Nyanza, we were told to ensure 100 per cent turnout. How can it be achieved when other parties are being sidelined,” he said.

Omwoyo said when they met in Nairobi, they agreed to put in place strategies’ to help Raila become president.

“The bigger picture is to deliver the presidency. At constituency level, there should be a level playing ground. We must sanitise how we operate,” he said.

The candidate also condemned the heckling of some governor candidates during the rallies at Etago and Nyamarambe.

He however welcomed the launch of the construction of a cane factory and the opening of Nduru Level 4 Hospital.

Ombacho, Omwoyo, Makori and Apepo are angling to unseat incumbent Sylvanus Osoro, who is a key ally of Deputy President William Ruto. Osoro is defending his seat on a UDA ticket.
