Angers-OM incidents: four Angevin supporters sentenced to suspended prison

According to information from theAFP, the Angers Criminal Court sentenced on Wednesday to suspended sentences ranging from two to four months in prison and a one-year stadium ban, four of the five SCO Angers supporters tried for the excesses which had place during the match against OM last September. One of the five defendants, aged 23, was released.

Prosecuted for “entry to a sports enclosure playground affecting the safety of persons and property”, two supporters aged 36 and 32 were sentenced to a two-month suspended prison sentence and a one-year stadium ban. The other two, aged 27 and 32, who were also being prosecuted for “violence in meetings”were given a four-month suspended prison sentence and a one-year ban on entering a sports arena.
