The scholarship will be part of Arizona’s program targeting 100 million people, 70% of whom are women and girls, to equip them with worldwide quality education through an innovative set of digital on-demand courses.

“Everyone will be assured of a scholarship for a certification course or a course that will enable them to access some of the opportunities available online.

We want to make our country the top talent of the world and the region,” The PS stated.

The celebrations will usher in a new era of themed national day celebrations in line with Ruto’s declaration on Tuesday, December 6.

Government Spokesperson’s office had earlier in the day called upon all interested Kenyans to participate in the innovation exhibitions at the Kenyatta International Conference Center (KICC) in Nairobi in the days preceding the Jamhuri Fete.

On his part, Interior PS Raymond Omollo promised to ensure security for all Kenyans and guests planning to attend the celebrations.

He stated that approximately 20,000 guests were expected to attend the Monday, December 12, celebrations. According to him, the guests should be seated in by eight o’clock in the morning.

The PS expressed his satisfaction with the level of preparedness for the second national day celebrations under President Ruto’s regime.

“We expect several guests and tech leaders who will be gracing the celebrations. Additionally, the celebrations will have a military component known as trooping of the colours followed by entertainment from several teams from across the country,” he stated.
