Revellers Throng Kitengela Club Inside Airplane After Launch

  • Club 034 Kitengela, on Saturday, December 10, opened its doors to revellers, presenting them an opportunity to experience the new setting.

The club was designed from an old aircraft in early 2022, with the VIP members given top priority to enjoy the art.

Club 034 is hosted in Kitengela, known for its amazing Nyama Choma. The delicacy is one of the reasons partygoers drive from far and wide, seeking to quell their hunger.

Kitengela, a town with an estimated population of 230,000, witnessed a sudden influx of high-end clubs targeting the ever-growing population in the satellite town.

The monumental Club 034 is owned by a city millionaire who invested in renovating and setting up the plane as an entertainment joint.

Its exteriors embody the legendary Maasai culture dominant in Kajiado County.

The two hundred sixteen seater plane was also reduced to one hundred seater capacity to accommodate space for revellers.

Club 034 also has the capacity to host wedding parties and act as a video shooting location and a playground for children.

It has walls donned in blue led lights, spacious with comfy leather sofa seats that serve its clientele’s demands.

In what seems to be the VIP section, the plane’s interior is decorated from top to bottom with a 3D model set up of cloudlike features that creates an atmosphere of a real flight.

To ensure that clients are well served and avoid frustrations, clients are expected to book their tickets online and check on availability through software that the club is to design.

Nairobi county government also adopted the same trajectory of redesigning old planes into exquisite recreational architecture.

The county added a vintage plane fuselage at Uhuru Park as part of its renovation. The old Boeing 737 fuselage will primarily be used as a

    restaurant and amusement facility.
