David Rudisha Hospitalized After Surviving a Plane Crash

Word 800m record holder David Lekuta Rudisha is at the hospital after sustaining injuries in a plane crash on Saturday.
Rudisha was travelling to Nairobi from Kimana Wildlife Sanctuary in the company of others when the light aircraft they were travelling in crash-landed at Imbirikana area of Amboseli. The team was traveling from 2022 Annual Masai Olympics where Rudisha was the chief guest
Athletics Kenya official Barnaba Korir said that the aircraft crash-landed shortly after taking off from Kimana Wildlife Sanctuary for Nairobi.
Initial reports indicate that the that the aircraft, bearing registration details 5Y-BGJ, developed mechanical problems that forced the pilot to crash-land.
Occupants of the plane including Kenya Defence Forces athletics chairman Stephen Ole Marai were rushed to a hospital in Makindu for treatment.
