Sakaja Rewards DJ Who Lost Nairobi Speaker Race

  • Nairobi governor Johnson Sakaja picked former Speaker seat candidate Jackson Veira alias DJ Rimshot to be one of the entertainers at the Nairobi Festival.

Speaking in Nairobi on December 15, the Governor announced that the former United Democratic Alliance (UDA) politician would showcase his talent at the inaugural festival.

The DJ contested the Nairobi Speaker seat in the August 9 polls after he unsuccessfully vied in the UDA primaries for the Central Ward post.

“It’s about the vibe, the people, our culture, it’s about the positioning and how to sell to the world,” the Governor expressed.
