Omalla leads Valentine's Day massacre of Wazito with first half hattrick – Capital Sports

NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 14 – Benson Omalla scored a first-half hattrick as Gor Mahia stormed to the top of the FKF Premier League with a 4-0 demolition of Wazito in a Valentine’s Day tie at Moi Stadium, Kasarani on Tuesday.

The Kisumu Day alumnus popped up with the first goal at the half-hour point before turning up with a second one a few minutes later.

The youngster was not yet done, slotting past the Wazito keeper at the stroke of half time to take his tally for the season to 15 goals.

Defender John Ochieng confirmed the Valentine’s Day massacre in the second half, turning in midfielder John Macharia’s corner for the fourth goal.
