Body Of Known Rape And Robbery Suspect Found In Riverbank In Kangemi, Nairobi – Eagle News Feed

Police are investigating the discovery of a body of a known robbery and rape suspect in the Kangemi area, Nairobi.

The suspect identified as Kelvin alias Mrasta, 38 had been accused of among others rape, serious assault and phone snatching.

Police said they suspect he was murdered but they are yet to know by who and the motive.

Locals said they spotted the body on Sunday, February 19 morning at Kanungaga village within Muslim Area along the Nairobi River Maumau Bridge.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased might have been killed elsewhere and the body dumped in the river.

The body had two visible injuries on the forehead and a stab wound at the back of the stomach.

It was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and further probe.

Police denied they killed the suspect, promising an investigation.
