A popular TikTok father-daughter duo died in a tragic accident on Friday, February 24, near Fort Ternan on the Londiani-Muhoroni road.
Reportedly, the father popularly known as Baba Mona was the driver of a saloon car but lost control causing it to roll several times.
He was in the company of his daughter, Mona, and his two sisters when the fatal accident occurred.

News of their death was sadly received by his fans who shared his last video on TikTok with his daughter.
Former Bahati Member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri on Saturday, February 25, also condoled with the family following the grisly accident.
“Extremely sad indeed. May they rest in peace and may God give the family peaceful hope beyond human understanding. Such a tragedy. It is well,” he stated.
According to the fans, Baba Mona was famous for his candid advice to all those that sought his help on different matters.
He was described as a straightforward guy who always spoke his mind when called upon. Additionally, he was referred to as a go-getter who followed his passion.
“Do not die with depression,” the content creator advised on TikTok.
In their last video, the duo was dancing and singing along to a popular vernacular song whose video has since gone viral as more viewers condoled the family.
Motorists on the road were urged to exercise caution to reduce the number of fatalities. Data from the National Safety and Transport Authority (NTSA) indicated that the number of fatalities increased in 2022 compared to 2021 between January and December.
In a bid to reduce the fatalities, the authority unveiled nine interventions for motorists and passengers as well.
“NTSA will collaborate with road agencies in hazardous zone identification and treatment,” the authority announced.
