President William Ruto on Monday appointed a technical team to review the new university funding model that has been the subject of criticism after many students felt left out.
The team is expected to review the fees and banding under the new model.
The new appointees include both representatives of university students and professionals who are expected to look into the issues raised by those opposing and supporting the model.
The team that is to be headed by Professor Japheth Ntiba was announced via executive order number 8 of 2024.
