Self-proclaimed activist and philanthropist Eric Omondi on Friday intervened to aid the former Nation Media Group journalist Nasibo Kabale.
Omondi in a brief video disclosed that the former health reporter had already been evacuated from the streets and received the neccesary help.
The comedian who spoke during a visit to Nasibo’s mother’s home in Jamhuri, Nairobi, revealed that Nasibo had been flown to a health facility in Nairobi and booked to undergo rehabilitation.
While issuing an update on the matter, Omondi dismissed claims that the former journalist was homeless and called on Kenyans to exercise sensitivity towards the matter.
“As I am speaking to you, Nasibo is safe and has been flown to a rehabilitation centre with the help of the brother,” Eric Omondi detailed.
“She is fine and will be fine but we needed to know what happened because when I saw the video, there were varying stories about her situation.”
