Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company Ltd (NCWSC) has rolled out an enhanced self-care USSD Code *260# to facilitate ease of service delivery.
While unveiling the code, the managing director, Nahason Muguna, observed that it was an important milestone in enhancing the customer experience of the city residents.
The new code, *260#, allows people without smartphones to still access services.
“This code marks a significant step in ensuring seamless access to our services,” Muguna stated.

To further ease service delivery, NCWSC has a toll-free line 0800724366 which will ensure customers can reach the call centre at no cost.
“These advancements have been adopted and implemented reflecting the Company’s commitment to leveraging on technology for better customer service and processes.”
The code will allow customers to do a wide array of services from the convenience of their homes right from their gadgets.
With the new code, people can register or de-register for e-bills, update their contacts, query, and pay bills.
Additionally, users can apply for water and sewer services and also check application status.
NWSC has the main responsibility of providing and managing water and sewerage services in Nairobi.
As such, it seeks to enhance service provision by aligning itself with the National Water Master Plan 2030 developed in 2013 by the Government.
The Service also oversees multi-sectoral initiatives and projects to promote sustainable availability and management of water in tandem with the Kenyan economic blueprint, Vision 2030.
