The lucky punter who incredibly won Ksh109 million from six multiple bets in a single day has spoken up for the first time about his remarkable slice of luck.
Identified as Bob Muriuki, the punter was officially handed the amount on a momentous occasion brimming with pomp and colour.
The dreadlocked punter was handed a hero’s welcome to the Mozzart Bet offices as he was officially presented with the dummy cheque to signify the transfer of money to his account.
Admittedly, Bob, a part-time businessman specialising in car spare parts, said he has never won such an amount since he started engaging in sports betting. Incredibly, he only used KSh37 to place his winning bet.

“I am really happy to win this huge amount, I have been betting for a very long time and I’m more than happy because God has enabled me to win this.”
He also described how he won his millions, and it was nothing short of extraordinary.
“I put a stake of Ksh200 and placed bets then realised that the odds were too much and asked myself how many games would enable me to win Ksh16 million out of desperation and saw it was Ksh37 and placed the same bet five times and that is how I managed to emerge as the winner,” said Muriuki.
A firm believer in a higher being, the punter broke down how he planned to spent his new-found fortune.
He added: “I plan to give God his share, most people give 10% but that is not the threshold so I will do more than 10%.”
His win, which was first confirmed on Tuesday, September 10, put him at the summit of the Mozzart Bet leaderboard as the individual who has won the highest amount of money from the betting site.
