Morara Kebaso Speaks After Being Injured & Forcefully Ejected from Bomas

Lawyer turned activist Kebaso Morara has spoken up after being attacked by delegates at the Bomas of Kenya during the public participation exercise on the impeachment of deputy president Rigathi Gachagua.

Taking his X platform, Morara confirmed the incident saying that he had initially been denied entry at the gate and once he got in, he was denied the microphone to address the public as well.

“I was barred from entering Bomas at the gate. When i finally got in, I was denied the mic at Bomas floor. Chaos erupted. I am hurt. Headed to hospital. I live to speak another day,” his post read.

In videos seen by Kenyans.co.ke, delegates were depicted throwing chairs at Morara, disrupting the exercise momentarily and forcing him to scamper for safety.
